We saw this post at my Facebook account and caught my attention. This is the post of the owner of the vehicle while having a conversation with the motorcycle rider who bumped this car.
Me: di ba naka red kayo? Bakit ka tumawid pa? Naka green kami! Kita mo naman nasa gitna na ako!
Motorcycle driver (MD): Sir nawalan po ako ng preno. Saka po baka sakali akong makalusot.
Me: patingin ng lisensya mo
MD: sir wala po akong lisensya
Me: ano??? Nagmomotor kang walang lisensya????
MD: lakasan lang po ng loob sir
It is not impossible that there are other motorcycle riders out there driving without license. Their reason is “hindi naman kami hinuhuli or hindi naman kami hinahabol not like the private cars”. Why? Because police enforcer can’t get anything from us coz we don’t have any money this is why we opted to get a motorcycle instead. If you have a car that means you have the money to buy one and maintain it.
But the thing is that these motorcycle rider that has no license is just adding up to our traffic problem and not only that they can cause accidents. The thing here once an accident happened because of them and they got killed or injured who will take the blame? Who will pay for the hospital bill and get jailed? It’s always the four-wheeled vehicle will get the blame and this bastards will get all the pampering “kasi sila ang nasaktan kahit kasalanan nila”.
Not all the accident with motorcycle are caused by the four-wheeled vehicle but because of the irresponsible / no discipline at all motorcycle driver especially that has no license.
Such incident like this the motorcycle rider should be put to jail and his motorbike to be confiscated. But because of the law enforcement that we have that often neglect the motorcycle nothing will happen.
Madami na ako nakita motor disobeying road rules. Sila pa nga sumasalubong at singit ng singit na kapag d mo pinagbigyan eh titigan ka pa ng masama, sisigawan ka at meron sisipain pa yung sasakyan mo. Hindi po namin lahat nilalahat ng mga motorcycle riders subalit malaki percent ay mga hindi alam ang tama paguugali sa pagdrive ng motor.
Isa pa dahilan madami wala alam sa batas trapiko kasi madali lang kumuha ng lisensya. Meron nga dyan punta ka lang sa fixer bayad ka ng 2 to 3k automatic meron na sagot ang test paper mo at meron pa delivery ng lisensya mo sa bahay. Alam namin ito kasi meron kami nakatabi at ng bayad lang daw sya. Nakakahiya kayo LTO dahil sa inyo lalo gumugulo ang ating kalye.
We would suggest that all drivers to take a retest once they renew and should undergo proper practical exam if possible. In this way this can filter out the drivers who just acquired their license thru fixers.
As for the motorcycle rider in this incident ‘lakasan lang ng loob – meron ka pa kaya lakas ng loob kung yang utak mo madurog sa accidente. O isa sa kapamilya mo ma accidente dahil sa “lakas ng loob mo”. Yan lakas ng loob mo wag mo damay ang mga tao sa bobohan mo. Tandaan mo wala ka lisensya wala ka laban kapag ikaw na accidente ng tunay at ma ospital. Ay baka hindi ka sa ospital dalhin kasi sa prisinto ka dapat dalhin.”
