PPP 2018 Kasado na ng FDCP

Tagumpay na nailunsad Film Development Council of Philippines (FDCP) ang Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP) last year, at ngayong 2018 ay muli nilang idadaos ang ikalawang taon ng PPP sa Agosto 15-21, 2018.

Sa pakikipagtulungan sa lahat ng sinehan sa bansa, pipili ang PPP ng walong (8) pelikula na magkaroon ng Philippine premiere.  “PPP was so well-received by our audience last year and we believe that this industry event is worth doing again this year. We are very proud that Filipinos came together to support our own and enjoy our amazing slate of quality genre films,” (“Ang PPP ay buong pusong tinanggap ng mga manonoood noong nakaraang taon at naniniwala kami na ang industry event na gaya nito ay dapat lang ulitin ngayong taon. Nakita nating nagsama-sama ang mga Pilipino upang suportahan ang sariling atin at napasaya natin sila sa mga de kalidad na pelikula,”sabi FDCP Chairperson at CEO Liza Dino sa meeting niya kasama ang mga producers noong Abril 4, 2018 sa Salu Restaurant sa Quezon City.

PPP will also be an opportunity for producers to enhance their experience and learn more about the ins and outs of the industry, from marketing, to booking, and distributing their films.” (“Lahat ng tao ay looking forward sa PPP 2018 at talaga namang ginagawa namin ang aming makakaya upang maging mas matagumpay ito ngayong taon,” dagdag pa niya. “PPP will also be an opportunity for producers to enhance their experience and learn more about the ins and outs of the industry, from marketing, to booking, and distributing their films.” (Ang PPP ay isang pagkakataon para sa mga producers na mapahusay ang kanilang karanasan at matuto pa sa loob at labas ng industriya mula sa marketing, sa booking, at distribution ng kanilang mga pelikula. “

Ang PPP 2018 ay bukas sa lahat Pilipinong producer na may natapos nang pelikula at maaaring magpasa ng higit pa sa isang (1) entry sa ilalim ng mga sumusunod na criteria:

  1. The film should have themes reflective of the Filipino sensibilities culture with wide audience appeal.
  2. The film should have been produced from 2017-2018.
  3. The film must have its Philippine premiere during the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino and must not have been previously shown in any format in the country. Films which premiered internationally are eligible.
  4. The film should have a minimum of 75 minutes and a maximum of 180 minutes in length.
  5. The film must be submitted with English subtitles.
  6. The producer must have a distributor.
  7. The producer must have a marketing plan ready in the event of selection.
