I can only say is “Damage has been done”. You not only insulted the government but also the public people. We came to think that why would the government help such person who broken the law especially in a different country. The government should help the law abiding citizen and not people who break the law. When the firing squad resume for your daughter they find nothing to anymore postpone. We won’t hear again you blaming the government or anybody. We must respect the law of the country we enter. Every tourist or OFW should know that.
