Calata Corporation is the largest retailer and distributor of top agrochemical brands feeds, fertilizers, veterinary medicines and seeds throughout the country. November 8, 2015 held at the Liwasang Aurora, Quezon City Memorial Circle has established the Guinness World Record on the Largest Serving of Roast Pork or better known here in the Philippines “Lechon”.
The event not only served as a momentous occasions for the Philippines but also a celebration the filipino citizens as a grand Lechon Party. An early Christmas treat citizens that is present during the momentous event.
Calata Corporation also celebrating their 16 successful years in the business not only wanting to establishing the Guinness World Record but also giving back to the citizens as giving the grandest “Lechon Party”.
The present Guinness World Record on the largest serving of roast pork was held at Mexico that served 3,094.2 kilos of conchinita pibil, a popular roast pork along the Yucatan region. While Calata Corporation established the new Guinness World Record of largest serving Roast pork at 4,046 kilos of our very known Lechon.
Guinness Officer Lucia Sinigagliesi graced the event and declared Calata Corporation for thaing the Guinness World Recold for the largest serving Roast Pork.With Joseph Calata, Chairman and CEO of Calata Corporation, Michael Angelo Lobrin, VP for Corporate Communications, Sales and Marketing, Parker Ong, VP for Product and Development.
