This coming February 25, 2016 is the celebration of 30th EDSA People Power Anniversary. MMDA had posted about alternate routes to be taken by motorist to avoid the hassle on the road during the celebration.
In line with the celebration of the 30th EDSA People Power Anniversary, the EDSA People Power Commission (EPPC) announced earlier today that White Plains Ave. will ONLY be closed on February 25, 2016 (12MN-1PM). The previous plan to set up the Experiential Museum along White Plains Ave. was revised. Set up of said Museum will instead take place inside Camp Aguinaldo. Northbound lane of EDSA Ortigas to EDSA Santolan will also be closed on Feb. 25 (12MN-1PM), while Eastbound and Westbound lanes of Ortigas Ave. will remain open to motorists.
Alternate Routes are the following:
For White Plains – use Kamias Rd., Aurora Blvd., P. Tuazon, Boni Serrano/Santolan, Ortigas, C5; we will allow thru traffic from White Plains to Temple Drive (no u-turn since White Plains is closed)
For EDSA – use Mckinley Rd./Kalayaan/Pioneer to C5, Roxas Blvd./Quirino/Osmena, Ayala, Buendia, R. Magsaysay Blvd., Quezon Ave. to go north
